Opportunity Overview:
Green Light is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Security Consultant (NV1 Required) to enhance our Security delivery team. This role is pivotal in providing expert consultation to our esteemed clientele, collaborating closely with internal teams to elevate the security maturity of their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert guidance and analysis on information and cyber security to essential stakeholders.
- Engage directly with clients, ensuring a 100% onsite presence to foster strong relationships.
- Design, implement, and uphold security governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Manage Third Party Risk, develop Incident Response Plans, conduct IS18 Assessments, create ISMS, perform Business Impact Assessments, and oversee Threat and Risk Management.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert, providing strategic advice on security governance initiatives to guarantee successful outcomes.
- Advise on information assurance to align with business needs.
- Evaluate and investigate security incidents, escalating issues to relevant internal teams for further support.
- Facilitate the implementation of designated security frameworks and associated procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of professional experience in a comparable Security Consultant role.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing significant security solutions within large enterprise environments.
- Technically versatile across various security platforms and technologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management guidelines and frameworks, including ISO27005, ISO31000, OCTAVE, and NIST 800-30.
- Extensive experience in risk assessment, security best practices, and the practical application of security controls in enterprise settings.
- Proficient in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Review security documentation, projects, and deliverables from external service providers to ensure quality assurance.
