The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer requirements, processing sales orders, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage customer inquiries and requests for service or quotation, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify process efficiencies to increase productivity, customer acquisition, and retention, and profit.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support the delivery of products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor information to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, purchasing, or a related field in a manufacturing, engineering, or warehousing environment.
  • Strong experience in compiling technical quotations and tenders is essential.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in warehousing and knowledge of valves and fittings is desirable but not essential.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
  • Preferably have a Forklift license and experience.
