About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Sales Specialist to join our team at Telstra Purple. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in creating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new customers, leveraging your strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and define commercial growth strategies.
  • Contribute to revenue growth by developing a strong sales pipeline, identifying new sales opportunities, and negotiating complex commercial constructs with clients.
  • Lead the establishment and execution of portfolio pursuit plans, ensuring alignment with Telstra's broader business plan and integrating products and solutions to achieve sales strategy.
  • Engage with and influence diverse client stakeholders to build an in-depth understanding of customer needs and identify solution requirements.
  • Leverage your knowledge of new and emerging enterprise technology solutions, Telstra's products, and customer needs to broaden the scope of opportunities and deliver sales revenue growth.
  • Take a creative approach to addressing current and future customer needs by combining existing products and services to develop sales solutions and support new business models.
  • Gather relevant information and insights to build an in-depth understanding of new business opportunities and drive business growth for Telstra.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated FedGov sales development experience
  • ITOM/ITSM/ServiceNow knowledge
