We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Job Description:

About the Role:

  • You will work with individuals with various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types, providing clinical services across early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services.
  • Assess and observe participants challenging behaviours, developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments in collaboration with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members.
Requirements:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Behaviour Analysis, Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health, or Nursing.
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or the ability to become registered.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses is desirable.
  • A car and licence for travel.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
