Company Description
STARS Behaviour Services provides evidence-based programs to support children's development and help families manage behavioural challenges. Services include Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI), Behaviour Management Consultations, Toilet Training Support, and Sleep Treatment Programs. The organization also offers parent and caregiver training and assists with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to ensure services align with funding plans.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Consultant, located in Sydney, NSW, with some work from home acceptable. The Consultant will be responsible for conducting behavioural assessments, developing personalized intervention plans, and providing direct therapy to children. Other tasks include conducting parent training sessions, monitoring progress, and adapting strategies as needed. Additionally, the Consultant will collaborate with team members and provide support in navigating the NDIS.
Qualifications
- Experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI)
- Skills in behavioural assessment and development of intervention plans BSP
- Experience in conducting parent training sessions and behavioural consultations
- Ability to monitor progress and adapt strategies accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a plus
- Master's degree Applied Behaviour Analysis or (working towards)
- Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner
