We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team in a remote location. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients.

">About the Role">
  • This is a casual, FIFO (Fly In / Fly Out) position, with flexible shifts based on site needs and your availability.
  • You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional meal services across breakfast, crib, and dinner.
  • The role offers an hourly rate between $30-$40, plus meals, accommodation, and uniforms while on site.
  • Ongoing support and training opportunities are available within a large global company.
  • Mental, financial, and physical health support programs are also provided.
  • Casual line chefs will be considered first for any full-time vacancies before external advertising.

  • Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher.
  • Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
  • Experience in mining village operations is desirable.
  • Ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • A valid police check issued within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain one.
  • Pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment, and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
  • Driver's License/Photo ID required.
  • Demonstrate proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
