Academic Position

We are seeking applications for a range of academic sessionals to join our team based at our Broome campus. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in medical education and research to contribute to the development and delivery of our Doctor of Medicine curriculum.

This role involves teaching in the pre-clinical and/or clinical years of the MD program, supporting the development and delivery of Problem-Based Learning and Clinical Skills, conducting tutorials, practical classes, labs, demonstrations, and clinical sessions, providing academic pastoral care to medical students, assisting with student assessments, examinations and markings, and mentoring medical students in rural and remote health research.

  • Possession of a medical or professional health degree registrable with AHPRA is required.
  • A medical fellowship, PhD, or Master's with 5 years experience is also necessary.
  • Experience in teaching in the Higher Education sector is preferred.
  • An understanding of and ideally experience in the application of Problem-Based Learning is desirable.
