Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Psychologist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and therapeutic services to Aboriginal children aged 0-12 and their families.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of children and families, and to make a real difference in their lives. As a Child Psychologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing psychological assessments and interventions to children with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioural disorders
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Supporting children and their families through education, therapy, and case management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider Number and bill for services rendered
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • A current Driver's Licence
Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including:

  • Base Salary: $109,629 - $132,658 per annum
  • Total Effective Package: $134,172 - $161,997 per annum
  • Generous salary packaging options
  • Six weeks' annual leave
  • 10.5% superannuation
