About the Role

This Child Development Specialist position plays a crucial part in our multidisciplinary team, working with Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families to optimize their development.

We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist who can provide seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for children with developmental and learning disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop personalized plans for children with developmental delays or disabilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support
  • Work closely with families to empower them with knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their child's development
