Child Development Specialist

As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for children with developmental and learning disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to Aboriginal children and their families
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify developmental needs
- Develop and implement strategies to support child development and well-being
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Experience working with Aboriginal children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
