Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families to optimize their child's development.
About the RoleThe Occupational Therapist will work within a team providing seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for children with developmental and learning disorders. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support children's development
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Develop and maintain relationships with families and community members to enhance outcomes
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in pediatric occupational therapy
- Strong understanding of NDIS and its application in practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
