Job Description

BESIX Watpac is a leading construction company that specializes in complex projects across various sectors. We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Qld construction team, working on the large-scale Ipswich Hospital Expansion project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Management: Manage all incoming and outgoing documents, including logging, distribution, filing, and archiving of documents and drawings received.
  • Project Documentation: Control all project documentation using industry-standard systems, ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general project administration support to the team as required.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly and other reports as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative skills, including preparation of general correspondence, filing, and document control, minute taking, and office management.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of organizational and time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Software Skills: Prior experience with Aconex is highly desirable.
