About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic People and Culture Director to join our executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our people and culture strategies, programs, policies, systems, and processes. This includes ensuring these practices are implemented efficiently, effectively, customer-focused, and legally compliant.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience providing strategic advice and strong leadership to people and culture functions within organisations supported by complex governance structures. You will be able to build collaborative working relationships at all levels of the organisation, inspiring and motivating people, and effectively building trust.

About You

We are looking for someone with a passion for optimising culture to support an organisation providing critical community services across the state. You will have a well-rounded skillset across strategic and operational priorities, with a systems-thinking approach to quickly understand the operating landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement people and culture strategies, programs, policies, systems, and processes
  • Drive organisational change and improvement initiatives
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with staff, members, and volunteers
  • Provide strategic advice to the Group CEO and executive team
  • Lead data-informed development initiatives to address current and future business and people capability needs

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team, making a real difference in the lives of people across Victoria.
