Gembridge partners with The Federation of Community Legal Centres Victoria to fill a key role in their organisation. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will contribute to the growth and success of this dynamic for-purpose organisation that leads and supports excellence in the community legal sector.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior HR Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary and generous benefits package. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Director of Member Excellence, People and Operations to provide expert advice and support on all aspects of people management, including organisational culture, policy development, and employee relations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strategic and operational HR initiatives in a similar role. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing guidance on best practices in people management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HR strategies and policies to support the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law, awards, and agreements.
- Lead the design and delivery of organisational culture initiatives to enhance staff engagement and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with managers and staff to resolve complex people-related issues and improve communication.
- Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a not-for-profit or community-based organisation.
- Proven track record of delivering strategic and operational HR initiatives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Competitive salary range $85,000 - $105,000 per annum.
