The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture

We are undertaking major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)
  • RAAF Base Wagga

The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate various elements, including:

  • Construction of new messing and living in accommodation
  • Construction of new training facilities
  • Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
  • Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services
Your Role as Project Procurement and Contract Manager

You will report to the Commercial Manager and support the project delivery team with procurement and contract management of subcontract packages, cost forecasting, control, and reporting.

You will also assist with administration of the Head Contract requirements. This position is based in Sydney.

Requirements for Success

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant experience in a contracting construction environment that engages with various sub-contractors
  • Experience in large construction projects, as well as local project exposure (ideally in building)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
