Exciting Opportunity for a Support Professional.

Metcash Retail Technology provides systems integration and business support services to retail customers serviced by Metcash Food & Grocery and Australian Liquor Marketers.

  • Deploy and oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and execution of the Scan data retrieval program.
  • Network of the Future initiatives for Metcash.

The role requires engagement with stakeholders at all levels, and on multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and replicate issues reported by our MRT team, and deliver training and support material to internal teams.
  • Provide remote technical and software support associated with the maintenance of POS Vendor Software.
  • Problem & Incident management to prevent recurrence of incidents and /or minimize impact.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in resolving incidents.

You'll bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines within short timeframes.
  • Superior customer engagement experience and skills.
  • Detail oriented and results driven.
  • Previous experience in database management acquiring and analysing data and experience in using any POS systems is desirable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or similar role.
  • Experience with database management and analysis.
  • Knowledge of POS systems.
