About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a driven fundraiser to join a high-performing team as part of Australia's largest food relief organisation. Reporting to the National Partnerships Manager, the role will suit someone with a background in fundraising, in-depth customer or relationship management experience who is looking to contribute to a meaningful cause. The ideal candidate will be proactive, can multitask and write effectively and demonstrate high energy and willingness to learn.

About You:

You are an independent, driven and passionate fundraiser with excellent written communication skills who understands the necessity of process and attention to detail. You are eager and willing to build strong internal and external relationships and are energised by the idea of working with a high-performing team. Your previous experience in a nonprofit environment will benefit you in this critical support role – you will thrive on jumping in, getting things done, and ensuring maximum effectiveness in your work, as you help to drive impact for Australians in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant prospecting, researching and development of applications, whilst accurately reporting back to partners.
  • Support the Corporate Partnerships team with partnership account management, business development, management of partnership collateral, and supporting key relationships through activations and events.
  • Maintain and grow the workplace giving (WPG) income stream, including management of existing donors and WPG platforms.
  • Support Foodbank Members with enquiries/tasks related to corporate partnerships as required, including fundraise licencing processes and documents.
  • Utilise Salesforce to track partner engagement, maintain accurate records, and ensure clear donation reconciliation.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team, supporting corporate partner marketing campaigns and cause-related initiatives.
  • Act as secretariat for the monthly Partnerships Team meetings which is made up of Fundraising representatives from the State & Territory Foodbanks. This involves notetaking at the monthly meetings to be distributed to the attendees.
  • Provide regular portfolio updates and contribute to leadership and board reports as needed.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with wider Foodbank Team (within Foodbank State and Territory locations).
  • Contribute, along with other staff members, to the smooth running of the office by answering phones, maintaining contacts in Salesforce, assisting with basic office administration etc.

Benefits for You:

  • Work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement, with both office and remote work options.
  • Access opportunities for professional development in corporate partnerships and fundraising.
  • Be a key contributor to a national network making a significant impact.
  • $15,900 of your annual salary tax free through generous not-for-profit salary packaging.
  • Finish each day with the knowledge you have done your best to have a positive impact on Australian's facing food insecurity.
