About the Role

As a key member of our Transdev team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our control centre, ensuring the smooth management of disruptions, crew changes, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns.

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of transport operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational control room function, reporting to senior management, and acting as the first point of escalation for incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee day-to-day operations to manage disruptions, crew changes, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns.
  2. Manage the operational control room function to ensure proactive, rapid, and effective management of daily operations.
  3. Report to senior management with relevant information and reports on a regular basis.
  4. Act as the first point of escalation for OCC Officers in the event of an incident.
  5. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  6. Prepare daily briefings for OCC Officers and ensure the team is prepared for any expectations of the day.
  7. Initiate first response actions to emergency incidents and communicate with external stakeholders.
  8. Supervise and support OCC operators to ensure a timely and effective response to planned/unplanned disruptions.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong time management skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and reporting, substantial operational experience in transport, logistics, or services industry, and exposure to scheduling and network planning.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $90,000-$110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
