The opportunity
We're seeking a Risk, Quality & Compliance Manager to join our Newcastle team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Head of Risk & Compliance to drive a strong risk culture, oversee internal processes and procedures, and provide expert advice to the Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance risks across the firm including AML / CTF, AFSL, ACL, CAANZ etc.
- Provide training and support on risk & compliance matters
- Monitor incidents, breaches and complaints, and embed controls in collaboration with the Executive Team
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- Offer guidance on legislative and regulatory changes that impact the company's compliance obligations
- Review and approve marketing materials and other external communications to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary degree qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Compliance-based position in the financial services industry
- Experience with AML/CTF, AFSL and ACL licensing requirements, highly regarded
- Experience with working with ASIC, highly regarded
