The Learning and Development Officer is a key professional responsible for driving the learning and development function at an organisation. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify targeted solutions to meet skills or knowledge gaps and build essential capabilities within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of learning initiatives, including planning, development, and implementation of staff learning and development strategies.
- Provide administrative support to capture training attendance and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in identifying methods to address learning opportunities and needs, ensuring that solutions are effective and sustainable.
- Monitor and report on learning and development budgets and programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar qualification, or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role with ongoing professional development.
- Database management experience and strong analytical skills to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Experience in identification of learning opportunities and needs, as well as demonstrated ability to provide recommendations to various audiences.
- Strong written and reporting skills to communicate complex information effectively, with experience using Microsoft Office and electronic records management.
