We are currently investing in the expansion of our manufacturing facilities, including the construction of two new purpose-built plants at our existing sites.

The Role: Senior Safety Manager

This permanent, full-time position is based at our Tarpeena manufacturing site, located near Mount Gambier in South Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of safety systems and programs across our multi-plant site.

Your primary objective will be to maintain a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors to our site. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote a culture of safety awareness, compliance, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, investigations, and corrective actions;
  • Collaborate with line managers to identify and mitigate workplace hazards, improving overall safety performance;
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certification or studies in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS);
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated track record of success in implementing safety initiatives and achieving improved safety outcomes.
Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
