Program Coordinator for Youth Education

About the Role:
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to lead our Reconnect Program, a full-time fixed-term opportunity until December 2025.
As the operational leader, you will optimise resourcing, manage day-to-day operational effectiveness, and provide ongoing professional development for the team.
You will work closely with the Director and Manager to deliver programs aligned with the overall BHI Strategy and Education Strategy.
This role requires you to develop and maintain expert knowledge, ensure program and student compliance, and manage budgets.
The successful candidate will have a relevant approved AQF Level 6 or above qualification in community services, youth work, or social sciences, and demonstrated experience leading and motivating a high-performance team.
You will also have a strong understanding of learning theory, particularly in relation to youth learning and working with vulnerable learners in an adult/community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Reconnect Program
- Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate innovative Reconnect Programs
- Manage a team of Case Managers
- Optimise resourcing and manage operational effectiveness
- Provide ongoing professional development for the team
Requirements:
- A relevant approved AQF Level 6 or above qualification in community services, youth work, or social sciences
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a high-performance team
