Salary Package

The Aboriginal Liaison Officer will receive a highly competitive salary package, including:

  • $71,040 - $77,116 per annum, comprising base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.

 

About the Role

This rewarding role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide outreach support, communication, and cultural brokerage to Aboriginal clients and clinical practitioners. The successful candidate will facilitate culturally safe and responsive holistic care and treatment, promoting health equity and social justice.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Aboriginal Liaison Officer will be responsible for:

  • Providing culturally sensitive support to Aboriginal clients, families, and communities.
  • Facilitating effective communication between clients, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Brokerage and advocacy on behalf of clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
