Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health nursing care to clients with severe and complex mental illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver culturally sensitive and holistic mental health care to clients
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote mental wellness
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures
Requirements
- Degree-qualified Mental Health Nurse with current registration
- Proven experience working with Indigenous Australians and/or in remote communities
- Strong knowledge of mental health theories and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
