Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health nursing care to clients with severe and complex mental illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver culturally sensitive and holistic mental health care to clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote mental wellness
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified Mental Health Nurse with current registration
  • Proven experience working with Indigenous Australians and/or in remote communities
  • Strong knowledge of mental health theories and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
