Job Title: Maintenance Fitter

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team in a leading manufacturing company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining equipment and machinery to drive improvements in efficiency and reliability. You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on plant and equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and supervise contractor activities to ensure safe and timely execution
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant trade certificate (e.g. Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Fitter/Welder)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • A forklift license and electrical disconnect/reconnect license (desired)
