Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our admissions team at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.

Responsibilities include processing admissions, transfers, discharges, and clinical documentation, providing timely administrative support to clinical staff, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures, managing accurate records, and preparing routine correspondence.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in medical administration
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in patient administration systems or ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of health funds
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy environment
