Learning and Development Manager, Oceania

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Takeda. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for evolving and managing the learning and development strategy to empower our customer-facing and full enterprise teams to excel and deliver on business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate a mindset shift to embrace lifelong learning and the engagement with our digital learning platform.
- Elevate the customer engagement competency of our customer-facing teams through targeted training and coaching initiatives.
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to evolve and deliver the learning and development strategy in a rapidly changing environment.
- Conduct an organisational learning needs analysis to identify priority skills for capability uplift.
- Design, facilitate, measure, and continuously improve training initiatives. Leverage global resources.
- Deliver the onboarding of new employees.
- Co-design and facilitate leadership workshops to hone the capabilities of our leaders.
- Create engaging communication campaigns to share initiatives and information transparently.
- Coach leaders to build team effectiveness and personal development plans.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of training initiatives and report quarterly.
Requirements
- At least 10 years in Learning & Development, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a high-compliance environment with customer-facing teams.
- Ability to leverage modern adult learning methods to create capability programs that are as effective as they are engaging.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a matrix organisation, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Natural influencer and storyteller with the ability to inspire and coach people at all levels.
- Structured approach to project management, problem-solving, and change leadership.
- Tertiary qualifications in an organisational development, learning or business discipline.
