About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Director to lead and supervise our Securitisation Department in Oceania. This role will focus on driving business growth by enhancing collaboration with internal stakeholders and propelling the business forward under the guidance of the Head of Securitisation APAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management of the Securitisation business in Oceania
  • Lead and supervise marketing, origination, structuring, and execution of transactions
  • Contribute to and execute Oceania Securitisation strategy, reviewing and adjusting it as needed to ensure sustainable growth
  • Grow the business in a sustainable manner
  • Enhance Collaboration with local, regional, and global teams
  • Collaborate with sector coverage bankers and RMs to enhance client relationships and expand the client base, aligning with MTBP strategy
  • Human Capital: Lead and develop a high-performing team in Oceania, providing career development opportunities and ensuring staff development
Requirements
  • 10+ years experience within banking or finance, preferably in Securitisation and/or Structured Finance
  • Undergraduate Business/Commerce/Law Degree from a leading university
  • Demonstrable experience in excellent client coverage and leadership
  • Extensive market and industry knowledge
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop new revenue/cross-selling opportunities
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
  • Previous experience in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship to a developing team
