We are seeking an accomplished Senior Regional Business Growth Strategist to join our team at NORMA Group.

As a key customer-focused role within the business, this position will be responsible for maximizing sales volume and margin in the region through growth in defined markets, applications, territories, and channels footprints.

The successful candidate will develop and manage channel strategies and expansion to reach current served and new markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising and execution with all relevant stakeholders to achieve overall region business revenue and margin expectations.
  • Geographical focus will be expanding businesses in Tier I and Tier II channel partners.
  • Participation and execution of Country Business plan with clear specifics on strategies and tactics implementations.
  • Channel identification, qualification, and development to drive growth expectations.
  • Operate through inter department communication and co-ordination in fulfilling enquiry to order and order to fulfilment and shipment cycle.
  • Liaising and coordination with other NORMA Group setups within APAC and beyond with regards to corporate and business development programs.
  • To always conduct oneself in a professional manner consistent to Corporate and Country guidelines and laws.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Development, preferable in the Mining or New Energy sector.
  • Post-graduate qualification in Sales and Marketing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commercial analytical experience and strong reporting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective Customer working relationships.
  • Able to build, maintain and analyse knowledge of market conditions and trends and customer activities/competitive responses.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring sales budgets and targets.
  • Proven knowledge of customer relationship management including assessing customer needs, meeting customer expectations and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic focus with hands on approach.
  • Experience with eCRM systems.

What We Offer

An estimated annual salary of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and location.
