Job Title: Solutions Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solutions Project Manager to join our team in delivering a new, state-wide cloud-based system to support the delivery of Health services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role and make a meaningful impact in the health sector.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years project management experience, including managing software development and/or COTS implementation, and will be familiar with complex ICT environments and reporting to senior management and executive levels.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a new, state-wide cloud-based system to replace existing systems CDIS and CERES.
  • Manage software development and/or COTS implementation.
  • Work within complex ICT environments and report to Steering Committees at senior management and executive levels.
  • Experience working within the government sector is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years project management experience, including managing software development and/or COTS implementation.
  • Experience working within complex ICT environments (preferably within the government sector) and reporting to Steering Committees at senior management and executive levels.
  • Formal project management methodology experience required - either PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
  • Proven agile PM/scrum master experience under the Agile SCRUM methodology, including the running of all ceremonies.
  • Experience managing the full project life cycle from planning through to operational support handover.
  • Experience managing multi-functional teams across Business Analysis, Architecture (Solution, Security, Data, Infrastructure), Development, and Testing.
  • Hands-on experience in managing finance/forecast and delivering projects to approved budget.
  • Experience within the health sector are highly desirable.
