Health Project Manager Opportunity

A leading provider of Information Technology and Professional Services is seeking an experienced Health Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a state-wide cloud-based system to support the delivery of health services.

This exciting project offers the opportunity to work on a complex ICT environment, managing software development and COTS implementation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, with formal project management methodology experience and proven agile PM/scrum master skills.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multi-functional teams and drive projects from planning through to operational support handover. Experience working within the government sector and in the health industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project life cycle, from planning to operational support handover
  • Lead and manage multi-functional teams across Business Analysis, Architecture, Development, and Testing
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, including software development and COTS implementation
  • Formal project management methodology experience (PRINCE2 or PMBOK)
  • Proven agile PM/scrum master skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience working within complex ICT environments
  • Experience working in the government sector and health industry highly desirable
