Cloud Engineer

This role sits at the heart of our DevOps function - bringing automation, cloud engineering, cost optimisation, and continuous delivery together to drive innovation, stability, and impact.

Are you a passionate engineer who thrives on solving big challenges with purpose?

  • You will engineer, automate, and optimise scalable infrastructure for high availability, security, and performance.
  • Champion Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to create repeatable, reliable environments.
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for rapid, automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Lead cloud cost optimisation efforts ensuring platforms are efficient and delivering maximum value.
  • Provide expert guidance to development teams on new services covering cost, security, back-ups and monitoring considerations.
  • Embed DevSecOps principles by integrating security, monitoring, and compliance into every stage of delivery.

We're looking for a DevOps-minded engineer who:

  • Has 3+ years' AWS cloud engineering and automation experience ideally with AWS certification.
  • Understands UNIX/Linux administration and uses scripting languages to automate tasks.
  • Brings strong experience with AWS services and container technologies.
  • Is passionate about automation, CI/CD, and bridging development and operations.
  • Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
