Cloud Solution Architect Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure cloud solutions that meet customer needs.

  • You will work closely with customers to gather requirements and propose effective modernization strategies.
  • As a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies, you will provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement database migration strategies and optimization solutions.
  • A day in the life as a Cloud Solution Architect involves leading database modernization initiatives, from assessment through implementation.

About this role:

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud solutions that meet customer needs
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose modernization strategies
  • Lead database modernization initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cloud-native solutions using containers, microservices, and serverless technologies
Requirements
  • Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53 & S3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++ or similar object-oriented languages
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies
  • Experience in Linux and Windows-based systems administration in a cloud or virtualized environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT implementation experience
  • Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies
  • Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical/architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
