Job Title: Technical Helicopter Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the technical management of our Apache helicopter fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of world-class aviation services.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead the ramp up and preparedness of sovereign capability in Townsville.
- Manage personnel recruitment, onboarding, training, site access, leave, time accounting, and on-the-job skilling for apprentices and aircraft workers.
- Support the Maintenance Operations Manager in managing a multidisciplinary team of employees and subcontractors delivering technical and logistics services to the 1 Aviation Regiment (1Avn) Operational Unit at RAAF Base Townsville and Army Aviation Training Centre (AAvnTC).
- Familiarity with ISO standards related to Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Australian Citizenship.
- Defence Security Requirements to Negative Vetting 1 level.
