The successful candidate will work in various residential homes across Southern Tasmanian region, Tasmania, promoting independent living skills through formal and informal teaching methods.

This role requires the ability to work day and night shifts on a regular basis, including weekends. The successful candidate will be required to maintain accurate records, adhere to guidelines, and ensure the collection and storage of receipts when handling client funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with office-based staff to develop and implement Person-Centred Plans (PCPs), ensuring the promotion of independent living skills.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication management, personal hygiene, food preparation, dressing, and mealtime support.
  • Maintain accurate medical, behavioural, and financial documentation, adhering to guidelines and company policies.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as payroll, compliance reports, and client procedural paperwork, in a timely and accurate manner.
