Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Family Violence Specialist. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary Family Violence Service to provide effective support to adults, children, and young people affected by family violence.
  • As a Family Violence Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to clients, including individual and group sessions, and developing programs that address the needs of adults, children, and young people affected by family violence.
  • You will also work closely with other professionals to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment for clients.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, including adults, children, and young people affected by family violence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy workload while maintaining a high standard of client care.
