Medartis, a global leader in orthopaedic devices, is seeking a Field Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tasmania. This role is based in Launceston. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise in a commercial setting, supporting surgeons, healthcare professionals, and the sales team in delivering top-notch solutions for patient care.

We're open to both full-time and part-time applicants (3 days per week). If you're interested in part-time work, please specify this in your application. For part-time roles, our preferred working days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; however, we're open to discussing flexibility with the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Field Support Specialist, you will:

  • Provide exceptional clinical support in hospital and theatre environments for trauma and elective cases.

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers.

  • Deliver product education and training through in-servicing, workshops, and hands-on support.

  • Ensure the timely and efficient management of inventory and product logistics.

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for our customers, offering solutions and maintaining a high standard of service.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in a medical-related field or equivalent experience (nursing or theatre experience highly desirable).

  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.

  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills.

  • Confidence in delivering training sessions and effective communication.

  • A commitment to customer service excellence and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Flexibility for on-call support and after-hours service.
