Senior Contracts Administrator - Fit-Out and Refurbishment

This is a great opportunity to work on complex projects with high-end clients across various sectors.

As a senior contracts administrator, you will be responsible for supporting project teams in the management and administration of contracts throughout the project life cycle.

You will ensure that the quality and profitability of the projects are maintained while financial and contractual risks are minimised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and check subcontract packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Negotiate and review subcontract tenders to achieve best value for the company.
  • Produce and maintain a procurement schedule that aligns with the project program.
  • Prepare accurate payment schedules to meet contractual obligations.
  • Process progress / delay claims and external variations according to contractual timelines.
  • Prepare draft progress reports for clients on a monthly basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Set up and maintain job files, drawing and contract registers, sample boards and shop drawing registers to ensure efficient project management.
  • Assist in the management and tracking of project expenditure against budget to ensure financial discipline.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably with a tier 1, 2 or 3 background.
  • A valid Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
  • Strong analytical and administrative skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
