The Daily Operations:
  • Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission
  • Coordinate bid kick-off meetings, set schedules, allocate resources, and track progress
  • Collaborate with diverse groups—Sales, Solutions, Finance, Legal, Risk, and external partners—to deliver cohesive proposals
  • Shape commercial strategies with cost models, pricing, SLAs, and value propositions
  • Develop, refine, and polish bid documentation to ensure clarity, persuasiveness, and compliance
  • Ensure governance and approvals are managed effectively, identifying and addressing potential risks
  • Support negotiations by preparing risk assessments, contract schedules, and commercial options
  • Mentor junior contributors to enhance overall bid capability
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in solution sales or managing large, complex service bids in IT&T or similar industries
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complexity into clarity
  • Familiarity with proposal management systems and tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint essential; MS Project desirable)
  • Commercial acumen and creativity to design bids that balance customer needs and our objectives
  • The ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, providing clarity and confidence in complex challenges
  • A reputation for building strong relationships and influencing at all levels, from technical teams to senior executives
