**Key Role in a Premier Plaintiff Law Firm**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team in a dual role that combines accounting and administrative responsibilities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our law firm, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations, and trust accounting.

You will also be responsible for ensuring corporate and legal compliance, including renewing business names, insurance, and practising certificates.

Additionally, you will assist with recruitment, HR, and staff management, as well as being the primary point of contact for IT professionals, building managers, and branch offices.

**Requirements**

  • A diploma or degree in accounting or bookkeeping;
  • Minimum 5-20+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant;
  • Experience working in a law firm or legal industry with trust accounting experience;
  • Strong numeracy skills, accuracy, and attention to detail;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Commitment to a permanent role working in our city-based office in Sydney.
