Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Media Professional to join our team. This key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of daily broadcasts.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in broadcast engineering or television technical support, with a strong understanding of automation and newsroom systems, including VizMOSART and Avid iNews. They will also be familiar with field and studio production equipment, such as TVU, Sony kits, and Quantel systems.

A critical requirement for this role is the ability to work collaboratively with editorial and production teams, providing frontline technical support for broadcast systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for VizMOSART, Quantel editing systems, TVU, and Sony field kits, as well as Sony studio cameras and robotic heads.
  • Support editorial workflows using Avid iNews.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain studio and field-based broadcast systems.
  • Collaborate with the news production team to ensure seamless live broadcast delivery.
  • Assist with upgrades, installations, and testing of broadcast equipment and software.
