Job Title: Account Director

At Havas Media Group Spain SAU, we are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead our client teams and drive strategic planning across key clients and major projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to grow client satisfaction and revenues.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the strategic planning process, managing client businesses on a daily basis and overseeing the strategic thinking and integration across disciplines.
  • Team Management: Manage staff and time within the team, ensuring productive and efficient work processes.
  • Financial Management: Ensure disciplined tracking and reconciliation of client expenditure, with a commitment to total accuracy when dealing with company finances and client budgets.
  • Innovation and Education: Seek out new and interesting opportunities for clients, driving creative thinking and inspiration amongst Havas teams.
Requirements:
  • Strong Account and Client Management skills: A natural leader who brings the best out of their team and instils confidence in clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to interrogate client briefs and evaluate media and connection opportunities against the client brief and requirements.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express facts succinctly and present cohesive ideas and persuasive arguments.
  • Team orientation: Ability to work harmoniously within a team and display self-motivation and initiative.

  • Results Focused: Demonstration of drive to achieve best results for clients.
  • Analysis: Demonstration of ability to analyse data and identify opportunities therein.
  • Creativity: Demonstration of lateral and imaginative thought in channel development and identification process.
  • Negotiation: Demonstration of effective negotiation of client discounts, added value, preferred placement, sponsorships, editorial, promotions, campaign extensions, etc.
