Job Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and process purchase orders within company systems.
  • Ensure high quality standards are maintained by conducting daily checks on incoming goods.
  • Collaborate closely with demand planning and production teams to align purchases with daily production plans and forecasts.
  • Manage stock replenishment, focusing on product shelf life.
  • Develop key supplier relationships for positive and ongoing stock deals.
  • Liaise effectively with all departments in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support the preparation and processing of RFIs and RFPs to procure value-for-money solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment as a Purchasing Officer or Buyer, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven negotiation skills with suppliers.
  • A strong background in inventory management and control.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
