Job Title

As a seasoned buying professional, you will be responsible for analyzing trends and creating new products to meet customer demands. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to identify opportunities in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and create new products to meet customer demands.
  • Work closely with brands to shop new season looks and use knowledge of consumer behavior and forecasts to deliver products to our stores.
  • Monitor sales, allocate stock based on performance and demand, and coordinate appointments for buyers including range showings and supplier appointments.
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers throughout the product development process.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure key performance indicators are met.
  • Write, review and organize purchase orders for suppliers, monitor cancellations and changes to delivery dates, and perform general administration duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in buying is essential.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel.
  • Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, analyze brand trends and identify opportunities.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, keen interest in fashion trends and ability to know what's next.
