Product Sourcing Specialist

Sources and purchases high-quality products for both retail and online markets, ensuring timely delivery and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the entire product lifecycle from concept to store delivery
  • Oversees pricing, margins, stock releases, markdowns, sales data, and supplier management
  • Collaborates with the marketing team on product releases and photoshoots
  • Develops and implements effective procurement strategies
  • Builds strong relationships with suppliers and negotiates contracts

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior buyer, preferably in the fashion industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgment
  • Proven experience managing budgets and margin calculations
  • Excellent computer literacy skills with Excel and Shopify (or similar)
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and negotiate with suppliers
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Fashion Design/Buying (or equivalent)
