Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team in achieving operational excellence. This is a permanent night shift role from 11:10pm to 7:10am.

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times, providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and exceeded.

This includes managing staff issues such as absenteeism and performance levels, assisting with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DC, controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements, and liaising with transport providers and the wider warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role within warehousing or logistics, proven leadership capabilities including ability to effectively engage a team, extensive computer skills – strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge, strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities, exceptional relationship building with customers across all levels, understanding of SAP systems, and current LF Licence (High Reach experience preferred).
