For our office located at Sydney International Airport we are looking for an Inbound Officer. The Inbound Officer will participate in planning formulation in the area of logistics. The Inbound Officer will provide operational and technical support, and assist with the continuous development and improvement on practices, systems and procedures in accordance with company standards and Australian regulations.**Inbound Officer**

Your new job includes
- Coordinating inbound shipment deliveries within an unique environment, ensuring all shipping is compliant with all Australian and international regulations
- Control and evaluate the shipping costs therefore, resolve and respond to shipment discrepancy issues
- Oversee the import/export customs clearance process and stay alert on any changes in rules and regulations.
- Manage imports transparency with forwarding agents and ensure reporting of same in line with business requirement
- Create and maintain accurate written policy & procedures for all shipping and inbound processes (formulate Standard Operating Procedures)
- Liaise and coordinate with logistics service provider and purchasing team on shipment arrangement
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers and providers
- Assist in preparation of management reports, budgets and forecasts

What you should bring along
- Extensive knowledge of Australia custom importation, documentation requirement and INCOTERNMS
- Previous experience in warehouse handling inbound and outbound, and overall inventory movement
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge and experience of MS Office/Excel/Powerpoint / SAP or ERP
- Managing and building stakeholder relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
