**Job Title:** Inbound Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendors and service providers within Australia, coordinating with key contact points, monitoring all sea or air shipment activities, releasing D/O for destination local operators/transporters, and providing regular reporting and data analysis to management.

About the Role:

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation and logistics processes.
  • Monitor shipment activities and provide real-time updates to management.
  • Release documents and facilitate customs clearance.
  • Provide regular reporting and data analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Managing vendors and service providers within Australia.
  2. Coordinating with key contact points and receiving pre-alerts from origins.
  3. Monitoring all sea or air shipment activities.
  4. Releasing D/O for destination local operators/transporters.
  5. Regular reporting of unusual operational incidents to management.
  6. Analyzing KPI results and providing data analysis for management.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in 3PL / freight forwarding industry is essential.
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Tertiary qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Intermediate Office Suite skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proven communication skills with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Punctuality and professional attitude are required.
