Physiotherapy Specialist

About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at the Amberley Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitative services to patients.

You will be responsible for providing direction on rehabilitation programs, splinting/plastering/fitting of orthoses or other devices, use of electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required, as well as providing advice and recommendations to other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitative services to patients
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance purposes
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent)
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
