Job Opportunity

As a General Practitioner, you will be providing high-quality, patient-centred primary healthcare services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in Ipswich and West Moreton region.


This role involves diagnosing and managing a broad range of health conditions, referring patients to specialists as needed, and contributing to the overall wellbeing of patients through culturally sensitive and holistic care.


About the Role
  • Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to the community with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and continuity of care.
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions using evidence-based practice.
  • Communicating clearly and empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and referring to specialists as needed.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent.
